General Rebate Information
Habersham EMC proudly offers rebates to our members when they choose to make their homes more energy efficient. Whether you’re constructing a new home or upgrading items in your existing home, you may be eligible for rebates! Contact Member Services for more information.
New Manufactured & Site-Built Homes – Up to $250
If your new home meets our energy efficiency standards, we will show our appreciation by giving you rebates.
Here are a few basic requirements:
- Electric water heater
- Electric heat pump

Heat Pump Replacement – $200 per unit
Replacing your heat pump? If you’re switching from gas to electric or replacing an older electric heat pump with a new electric one, we’ll give you $200 per unit!

Water Heater Replacement – $200
HEMC will reimburse you $200 to replace your gas water heater with an electric water heater.
