Habersham EMC Surveying Members
Habersham EMC members are being contacted at random to participate in surveys regarding member satisfaction and household appliances. These are two separate surveys, so it is possible for some members to be contacted for only one, both or neither.
Member Satisfaction Survey
Currently, HEMC is participating in a Member Satisfaction Survey through Touchstone Energy. This survey is being conducted by Data Decisions Group (DDG) via email and/or telephone. DDG is a large market research firm based in Chapel Hill, N.C. and handles all surveys and data collection for TSE Services, a division of Touchstone Energy. DDG sends an email invitation containing a link to the survey to members. If a randomly selected member does not have an email on their HEMC account, DDG’s phone center partner, SSRS (based in Allentown, PA) will call the member to ask the same questions as included in the online survey. Calls have a “919” area code and are made between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., then 5:30 p.m. until 8:45 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays if necessary. Phone surveys are not conducted on Sundays or holidays. This survey does not ask for any financial information or personal information, such as social security numbers or credit card numbers. The Member Satisfaction Survey typically takes 7 minutes to complete.
Residential Appliance Saturation Survey
Later this year, beginning in late October/early November, all HEMC members with an email on their HEMC account will receive a Residential Appliance Saturation Survey. This survey is required to be conducted every 5 years per Rural Utility Services (RUS), a division of the USDA and one of HEMC’s lenders. The purpose of this survey is to collect information in order to plan for the amount of electrical load needed to meet member needs in the future. This survey doesn’t ask for financial or personal information, such as social security or credit card numbers.
Your participation in these surveys is very important. We know your time is valuable and appreciate your effort to complete them in order to help your cooperative better serve you.
