ERC Loans

Habersham EMC offers a 5% loan program to members in order to upgrade existing homes to be more energy efficient. Financing is available up to seven years with no penalty for an early payoff. This program is designed to assist members with replacing or installing a heat pump, windows, doors, and insulation. Loan requirements include: a complete credit check, $100 loan application fee, a heat loss/gain load calculation, and a security deed. In addition to lowering your energy bill, you may also qualify for a rebate following Touchstone Energy Home Certification.
