TSE Survey Results


To support Touchstone Energy cooperatives in an effort to improve customer satisfactions, TSE Services conducts member satisfaction surveys. A sample of customers is selected, telephone surveys are completed, data is then analyzed and reports are written. Surveys are conducted bi-weekly to allow a continuous measure of customer satisfaction. Each quarter the survey includes 255 residential and small commercial customer interviews.

In cooperation with Touchstone Energy, TSE Services field four core questions from the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) on behalf of cooperatives participating in its Member Satisfaction Tracking System. Responses to these core questions are submitted to the ACSI for scoring, allowing participating cooperatives to compare their performance with the leading corporations across the economic spectrum. Each cooperative receives an overall ACSI Satisfaction Score from ACSI.

The chart below shows Habersham EMC's Overall Satisfaction Score compared to TSE Services Member Satisfaction System participants (TSE Services Group), Touchstone Energy Cooperatives nationwide, the top scoring investor owned electric utilities, and the electric industry average for 2009. Habersham EMC has consistently scored higher than the other survey participants.
