Walter Harrison Scholarship

The Walter Harrison Scholarship is sponsored by the EMCs in Georgia. The $1,000 scholarship is open to all members and EMC employees. The scholarship can be used at any accredited two or four year university, college or vo-tech institute in Georgia.

Recipients must be enrolled in an accredited program, either full or part time and must be an undergraduate student only. A combination of need and academic ability will be used in determining scholarship winners.

Habersham EMC's application deadline for the 2008 Walter Harrison Scholarship is February 1, 2008. The completed application may be mailed to Habersham EMC, P.O. Box 25, Clarkesville, GA 30523 or dropped off at our offices in Clarkesville or Cleveland.
